This Week in Chevy Chase: Council Meetings, Arrest Update
Things to know in Chevy Chase this week.
Good morning, Chevy Chase! It's Monday, Oct. 8, and here are five things to know this week:
1.) Temperatures will be in the mid-50s on Monday, with cloudy skies. Expect temps in the low 60s on Tuesday and in the high 60s or low 70s, with mostly sunny skies, for the rest of the work week, according to Weather.com.
2.) An arrest has been made in connection with the alleged assault occurring in the tunnel of the Capital Crescent Trail on Saturday, Sept. 29. Read more on Chevy Chase Patch.
3.) The Chevy Chase Village Board of Managers will meet at the Chevy Chase Village Hall on Monday, Oct. 8, at 7:30 p.m. According to the agenda, which is posted on the village's website, Chevy Chase Village Police Chief John Fitzgerald will propose a bait car program for the village.
4.) The Town of Chevy Chase Council will meet at the town hall (4301 Willow Ln.) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 10.
5.) The Montgomery County Council will host its third Town Hall Meeting for Students on Wednesday, Oct. 10, at the Montgomery County Council Office Building in Rockville. The meeting is open to high school, middle school and elementary school public and private students from around the county.
