1.) Temperatures will be in the high 70s, with mostly sunny skies, according to Weather.com. The humidity level will be at about 52 percent.
2.) Today is graduation day for the seniors of Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School. The ceremony will start at 10 a.m. at the DAR Constitution Hall, and will be broadcast on DAR's website. The featured speaker will be David Simon—journalist, author, producer of HBO’s "The Wire" and a B-CC alumnus.

4.) The Town of Somerset Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the town hall (4510 Cumberland Ave.). The meeting's agenda is posted on the town's website. Starting this month, the public comment session of each council meeting will take place at the beginning of the meeting.
5.) Today in history: One hundred and sixteen years ago (in 1896), Henry Ford unveiled the "Quadricycle," his first automobile, History.com reports. The vehicle was "basically a light metal frame fitted with four bicycle wheels and powered by a two-cylinder, four-horsepower gasoline engine." Read more on History.com.
