One person is being transported to the hospital after a car collision shortly before 10a.m. on Old Georgetown Road near I-270, according to a Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman.

Montgomery County police received a call at 9:51a.m. reporting the accident, and county fire and rescue personnel responded, Garcia said. One person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, Garcia said.

Garcia said he wasn't sure how many vehicles were involved in the accident or whether it affected traffic.
