Bank of Georgetown to Occupy Former Dessange Spot
Friendship Heights businesses shuffle locations.
Update (Tuesday, Aug. 21): The Bank of Georgetown will likely open in the Wisconsin Avenue location in November, a bank spokesperson told Patch.
Original post (Monday, Aug. 20): The spot formerly occupied by the Dessange Paris salon won't be empty for too long.
Soon, the Bank of Georgetown branch on 44th Street near Lord & Taylor (at 5236 44th St. NW, on the Washington, DC, side of Friendship Heights) will move into the old Dessange spot, on Wisconsin Avenue at Willard Avenue (5410 Wisconsin Ave., Chevy Chase, MD), according to The Agenda News.
The Dessange salon is getting ready to move into the former Mervis Diamond Importers location just up Wisconsin Avenue, at 5468 Wisconsin Ave. But, due to delays in opening the new location, Dessange has temporarily relocated to The Elizabeth Arcade (4601 North Park Ave.). Dessange hopes to open in the old Mervis spot in October, César Carvalho, public relations and marketing specialist for the Chevy Chase location of Dessange Paris, told Patch.
