What makes your favorite the best of the bunch? Don't see your favorite on the list? Tell us about it in the comment box below the poll.
Click on the link of your favorite workout spot in the list above, then—on its Patch Places listing—rate it and review it. It's that easy!
The poll starts on Monday, March 5, at 5 a.m. and closes at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 9. The winning workout spot's name will be posted on Patch after noon on Friday.
Because this poll is not scientific, the votes will not be the sole consideration in choosing the winner. The winner will be determined by Patch editors, and the selection will be based on poll results, ratings and reviews. Please vote only once per survey and per Patch.

The equinox in bethesda is one of only a few equinox's in the United states that will not validate parking. Given how expensive they are and that they validate at almost all of their other locations I have to ding this equinox.

Crunch of Chevy Chase is not on your list but it should be. This place is terrific. Not only is it much less expensive than other gyms, but it's clean, the staff is very friendly, the class schedule is awesome, and the teachers are fantastic.

Zengo Fitness is the best new workout in town!!! Why isn't it on the list? The cycling classes are amazing! All of the instructors are all incredibly talented. After one class at Zengo, you'll never take another spinning class at your local health club.

Yes! Comments weigh as much as the poll in deciding a winner. If your gym doesn't appear on our list but should be considered, get as many people to comment that it's the best!

Thanks, Kathryn! The list isn't inclusive - in our attempt to keep it from being several pages long... But, comments count as votes, so you've got one vote in for the Wash. Sports Club at Wis. and Bradley! Thanks!

So many places are missing from your list unfortunately. Where are Balance, ZenGo, Chic Physique, Fusion Yoga, Bikram Yoga Bethesda? What's your definition of workout spots?
Laura L Thornton
10:40 am on Monday, March 5, 2012
Thanks for your comment, Renata! This list isn't meant to be inclusive - it would just be way too long if it were. And, we're saving yoga spots for another poll - we wanted to give them their own spot! (Although, yes, yoga is definitely a workout - I can attest to that...) Anyway, if you don't see your favorite workout spot listed here, just write it in here in the comments, and it will count as a vote. Thanks!

Caryl Raport's pilates reformer classes at Precision Health and Fitness is the best workout around. You would be amazed at the how fit the people who take her class have become. Those that have been taking it with Caryl for several years have the strength and fitness level of people at least 10 - 15 years younger. If you want a great workout that is different each time you take it (never boring), try out Caryl's class...You won't be sorry.

I can't believe you didn't list Lifetime Fitness in Rockville: It's larger than any you have listed;, has more classes, the price is right; large parking lot; no fee for parking; more classes; excellent instructors; more machines, if that's what you want; immaculate; beauty salon; sauna and hot tub; cafeteria. What's not to like?
