Bethesda Crime: Residential Burglaries, Montgomery Mall Thefts
The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department. The mention of arrests or charges does not indicate a conviction.
The Montgomery County Police Department has released a summary of major crimes occurring in the second district between March 26 and April 3. The following crimes in Bethesda were included in the summary:
- A home was burglarized in the 6400 block of Bradley Boulevard sometime between Monday, March 26, and Wednesday, March 26. There was forced entry into the home, but nothing was stolen.
- A burglary happened in the 4800 block of Battery Lane in the overnight hours from Wednesday, March 28, to Thursday, March 29. There was unforced entry and nothing was stolen.
- There were two thefts reported at the Westfield Montgomery Mall at 7101 Democracy Boulevard. On Thursday, March 29, property was stolen from a victim’s purse sometime between 9 a.m. and noon. Property was also stolen from a victim’s purse on Friday, March 30, around 6:45 p.m.
- There was an attempted residential burglary in the 8700 block of Bradmoor Drive at 1:10 p.m. Nothing was stolen.
