It's great to have a place to take your children during the winter that's indoors.
My Gym and Kidville in Bethesda are two kid-friendly gyms that offer families a place for their children to play safely and get out all that pent-up energy.
Patch spoke to both Mandy Lemar, owner of My Gym, and Kidville's owner Anjali Varma about the programs and classes offered at their gyms.
But now we want to hear from you!
You don't have to be a professional writer to give us your opinion, and in just a few steps you can tell us which is your favorite gym and why it's just so great.
Here's how to play:
1 Create a free Patch login if you don't already have one.
2. Visit the pages in our Places directory for My Gym and Kidville.
Write a review at the bottom of the page where prompted. What activities do your kids like or who's your favorite employee?
Thanks for playing!

My kids both loved My Gym. Their classes are very engaging and they do great birthday parties!

I have taken my children to both gyms.
Kidville pros:
Downtown Bethesda locale is fun for running others errands, shopping, dining before or after class
Clean, large facility with lots of equipment
The teachers are enthusiastic, polite, and great with kids
Fantastic hair salon, Ms. Krissy is great hairdresser and the whole atmosphere is much nicer for a young child than Cartoon Cuts.
A fun place for a birthday party
Cons:
Parking in downtown Bethesda is a timely endeavor with a young child to put it politely.
This place is exorbitant.
The retail store is a bit heavy handed. I don't want to take my child to class in a toy store.
My Gym
Pros: Very accessible, easy parking. Very affordable, low membership fee. Wonderful teachers. Miss Kim and Mr. Aaron always greet my child warmly and by name.
A very low key and discreet offering of retail toys. This place is primarily just a kids gym and it delivers this. Always very clean. Restroom has a changing table with free wipes and diapers. A nice combination of parents and caregivers taking the kids to class.
Cons:
Sometimes the classes feel too large. The space is small for a kids gym.
I wish their was an option to purchase an unlimited membership price point. The open playtimes always conflict my young child's nap schedule or dinner time for me so I never realize this value.
Summary:
Both gyms are a good time. I prefer My Gym more for its simplicity, ease of access and overrall value.
