Chevy Chase Crime: Robbery at Wisconsin, Chevy Chase Blvd.

Four suspects assaulted a victim and obtained property.

 

The following information was supplied by the Montgomery County Police Department in its summary of major crimes occurring in the county between Nov. 5 and Nov. 13. The mention of an arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

  • robbery occurred at Wisconsin Avenue and Chevy Chase Boulevard, Chevy Chase, on Nov. 9, at about 2 a.m. Four suspects assaulted a victim and obtained property. The suspects' vehicle was a grey, four-door sedan with two bright stripes on its trunk, according to police.
  • residential burglary occurred in the 3500 block of Ross Road, Chevy Chase, during the night between Nov. 9 and Nov. 10. There was a forced entry and property was removed. 
  • theft occurred in the 6800 block of Wisconsin Avenue, Chevy Chase, on  Nov. 11, at about 3:15 p.m. Suspects obtained property from a victim.
  • Graffiti was painted on recycling bins in the parking lot of Rock Creek Forest Elementary School, 8330 Grubb Rd., Chevy Chase, on Nov. 12.
  • A residential burglary occurred in the 3700 block of Bradley Lane, Chevy Chase on Nov. 13, between 11:30 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. There was an unforced entry and property was taken.
