End of January Opening Planned for Aroma Espresso Bar

The scent of a new coffee joint wafts ever closer.

Delays have pushed the opening of Westfield Montgomery Mall's newest coffee shop since its debut was announced in September, but Aroma Espresso Bar could open in two weeks.

According to local restaurateur Eddie Benaim, who is heading the expansion of Israel's largest restaurant franchise into Westfield Mall, the coffee shop should be open within two weeks.

"Construction is not completely done on the mall side but it should be done by the weekend," Benaim said. "We're probably going to do a soft opening on Jan. 27, as of now, unless there are unforeseen complications. We will plan something for a grand opening after it's open."

The restaurant will serve soups, salads and pastries, along with its espresso selections. Aroma applied for a liquor license to sell beer and wine in November. The hearing for the license is scheduled for this week, Benaim said.
