Wednesday marks the first day of the May exhibition at Bethesda’s own Gallery B.

The community gallery, located at 7700 Wisconsin Avenue, is managed by the Bethesda Urban Partnership and Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District. The art space opened its doors in October at the location of the former Fraser Gallery.

The May exhibition will be on display through May 27 and features the work of eight county artists, including:

• Carol Bouville of Gaithersburg
• Debra Halprin of Silver Spring
• Marion Mackerer of Derwood
• Barrie Ripin of Bethesda
• Janet Schroeder of Bethesda
• Michael Shibley of Takoma Park
• Julie Smith of Olney
• Noble Veirs of Silver Spring

Gallery hours are noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. Stop by the exhibition’s opening reception during next week’s Bethesda Art Walk, from 6 – 9 p.m. Friday, May 11.
