Free Summer Concert in Veterans Park
Where/When: Veterans Park (at Woodmont and Norfolk avenues, Bethesda); Thursday, June 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Why Go: Enjoy free concerts, presented by the Bethesda Urban Partnership, every Thursday for much of the summer. This week, enjoy the soul and jazz sounds of Patrice.

Bethesda Big Train Baseball Games
Where/When: Shirley Povich Field (10600 Westlake Dr., Bethesda); Thursday, Friday and Saturday (June 28, 29 and 30) at 7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Support the summer collegiate baseball team for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area. This weekend, you’ll have three games to choose from, with Hometown Heroes Night on Thursday, Super Hero Night on Friday and Health Night on Saturday.
Price: $5 to $9.
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Imagination Stage
Where/When: Imagination Stage; Thursday and Friday, June 28 and 29, at 10:30 a.m., and Saturday, June 30, at 1:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Performances are ongoing through August.
Why Go: C.S. Lewis’ beloved children’s book will be brought to life onstage, in partnership with the Washington Ballet. The summer production is a fusion of dance, theater and puppetry.
Price: $10 to $27.
The AT&T National Golf Tournament
Where/When: Congressional Country Club, through Sunday, July 1.
Why Go: Tiger Woods’ golf tournament—and Tiger himself—return to Congressional this week, bringing 120 of the top PGA Tour professionals to compete right in our backyard.
