Girl Scouts are selling cookies at several locations and events throughout Chevy Chase through March 24. Cookie sales started on Friday, Feb. 22.

Many times, dates and locations for cookie sale booths already are set. 

This weekend, Girl Scouts will sell cookies in Chevy Chase at:

• Chevy Chase Supermarket (8531 Connecticut Ave.): Saturday, Feb. 23, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 24, 1 to 5 p.m.
• Giant Food (5463 Wisconsin Ave.): Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23 and 24, 1 to 5 p.m.
• Daily Dish (8301 Grubb Rd.): Sunday, Feb. 24, 1 to 5 p.m.

Sales are dependent, in part, on the weather.

Girl Scout cookies are $4 a box this year. Each Girl Scout troop gets to keep up to 70 cents from every box sold.
