America’s 57th presidential inauguration is just around the corner and for Washington area residents, that means a party to rival all parties.

Next week in DC may look like New-Year’s-Eve-Meets-Mardi-Gras, with the Alcohol Beverage Regulation Administration permitting some businesses to serve alcohol until 4 a.m. all week. Washingtonian magazine has a list of DC bars staying open late for inauguration festivities.

In Montgomery County, the inaugural weekend is a little more low key. Fewer bars and restaurants are advertising inauguration specials, though for Mussel Bar in Bethesda, inauguration begins with an Obama-tini cocktail. From Jan. 18 through 21, customers can sample the drink – “Ketel One vodka, Hypnotiq liqueur and a float of blue curacao,” according to the Washingtonian—while toasting to another four-years for the president.

Founding Farmers in Park Potomac will open for a holiday brunch Monday, celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the inauguration. The restaurant will offer a full brunch menu from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Reservations can be made online here.

Just because you’re not downtown for the inauguration, doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate.

The Folklore Society of Greater Washington will also host hold non-partisan ball in the Spanish Ballroom at Glen Echo Park. For more information on tickets and pricing check out the event website here.
