'Law & Order' Star To Visit Bethesda Lane
What else is going on during Writers on the Row?
Today bookworms and TV junkies will have the chance to meet Richard Belzer, star of Law & Order: SVU, and author of “Dead Wrong: Straight Faces on the Country’s Most Controversial Cover-Ups.”
Writers on the Row kicked off Thursday in Bethesda, bringing bookworms face-to-face with favorite authors.
The event continues today and through the weekend, combining author readings, book signings and deal specials to businesses along Bethesda Row.
Belzer will be available from 4 to 6 p.m. on Bethesda Lane. In addition to Belzer, children authors Cheryl and Peter Barnes will host a reading of book “Woodrow for President: A Tail of Voting, Campaigns, and Elections.” The Barnes will appear from 2 to 4 p.m. on Bethesda Lane.
Today’s store and drink specials include a Kidville arts and crafts tent on Bethesda Lane from 2 to 4 p.m., a mini burrito bar with chips & salsa courtesy Boloco from 4 to 6 p.m. on Bethesda Lane, and after-book-signing specials from Mussel Bar.
