Montgomery County police are searching in Bethesda neighborhoods for a man who stole property from a customer at a Bank of America at 5135 River Road in Bethesda.

The man stole property from a victim inside the bank shortly after 9 a.m. Monday and fled, according to police spokeswoman Angela Cruz.

Police were using canines to search neighborhoods near Western Avenue, Wisconsin Avenue, Dorset Avenue and Willard Avenue, Cruz said.

Shortly before noon, police had not yet located the man. Police were not yet releasing a description of the suspect, Cruz said.
