Bethesdans are noted for their ability to THINK GLOBAL but ACT LOCAL. One way to ACT LOCAL is to buy LOCAL. For example the highty popular Sunday Farmer's Market held at the Bethesda Elementary School Parking Lot is frequented by many Bethesdans assuring that this business will stay in business. So BUY LOCAL to insure that Bethesda Businesses will survive and thrive.
