Caribou Coffee is marking breast cancer awareness month this October.

If you're grabbing a latte or an Americano at Bethesda's Caribou Coffee, you may be served by a barista decked out in pink.

Caribou Coffee locations across the country are marking breast cancer awareness month by donating portions of proceeds of the sale of "Amy's Blend" coffee to local cancer charities. "Amy's" coffee and specialty coffee products honor Caribou "Roastmaster" Amy Erickson, who lost her battle with breast cancer in 1995 at age 33.

Here in Bethesda, proceeds will benefit the Montgomery County General Hospital's oncology unit, and baristas are wearing pink wigs and hats to help promote breast cancer awareness.

How will you mark breast cancer awareness month this October? What other promotions are you seeing at businesses around town? Tell us in the comments.
