Haven and Mia's. Haven brings coal fired, thin crust pizza to the area. Mia's produces great pizza in an inviting atmosphere.

What do you all think of Bel Piatto Pizza in Bethesda? Formerly, confusingly Red Tomato Pizzeria (not related to Red Tomato Cafe)... I tried that place yesterday and the crust was pretty good!

Hi Katie! Welcome to Bethesda! I tried Bel Piatto on a lark about a month ago. I like their subs so much that I'm working my way around the menu. I think a beg effort is being made to establish themselves and the customer is really benefitting from it. I hope it continues because while not the cheapest guys in town, I think they are a refreshing new choice with no frills delivering a quality product at reasonable prices. I think they make their own sauce which is distinctly savory and mildly spicy. It provides a common thread throughout their pizzas, lasagna, calzones, and some of their subs too. If you like it, you'll love most of their menu. They are my current go to delivery choice for lunch and sometimes dinner when I want something from that "food group." If you like the crust and enjoyed the sauce, try (share) a calzone which is as substantial as a whole medium pizza. -Rob

I voted P.o.R., but neither is my first choice. Bel Piatto is better than any of the above and Ledo's is a local, unique classic.
