Report: Montgomery Umbrella Burglar Sentenced to 75 Years
Paul Jerome Holt, 34, was responsible for at least nine burglaries, and took over $80,000 worth of equipment, WUSA 9 reported.
A man responsible for breaking into businesses from Gaithersburg to Silver Spring and taking laptops, iPads and other electronics has been sentenced to 75 years in prison, WUSA 9 reported.
Paul Jerome Holt, 34, was responsible for at least nine burglaries, and took over $80,000 worth of equipment, according to the report. Holt was caught on surveillance video during one of the burglaries using an umbrella to conceal his face.
"From Urban Nation to Mars Symbioscience to a dentist office, Mr. Holt preyed upon unsuspecting people who thought their personal or business property to be safe," John J. McCarthy, State's Attorney for Montgomery County, said in a press release.
Holt also "stole from a church and a funeral home in the same day," McCarthy said in his statement.

He did not have a color TV when he was growing up.
Someone told him no, and his feelings were hurt.
He was going to start a new job on Monday.
His mother did not breast feed him.
He was getting even with the Man.
Someone forced him to take drugs.
He was forced not to study in school.
He was forced to drop out of school.
He decided the world owed him a living.
His self esteem wasn't.
He could not afford the spinners for his ride.
The police were picking on him.
He never had a chance.
The stars were out of alignment.
Pick you own bull manure reason why this predator is not responsible. Good bye and good riddance Mr. Holt.
