Friends gathered Friday morning at Union Jack's in downtown Bethesda to watch the royal wedding—many showed up in fancy hats or Union Jack attire.

Genevieve Rozansky, of Bethesda, and Leslie Stevens, of Alexandria, wore sapphire blue ribbon barrettes with rhinestones—echoing the royal bride's engagement ring and dress—to the Union Jack's pub in downtown Bethesda on Friday morning to watch the royal wedding.

Union Jack's British pub, in downtown Bethesda, hosted a royal wedding-watching breakfast—complete with mimosas and tea—Friday morning, as Prince William and Kate Middleton—now the Duke and Dutchess of Cambridge—exchanged wedding vows.

The pub was already crowded by 5:30 a.m., well before the 6 a.m. wedding start time. After William and Kate had exchanged their wedding vows, pub patrons clapped and cheered.
