Six professional theater troupes will race against the clock Feb. 9 as they write, produce and perform original plays in 24 hours.
The ninth annual speedy theater event is known as Bethesda's Play in a Day, and it's produced by the Bethesda Urban Partnership and the Bethesda Ars & Entertainment District.
