Taking advantage of the warm, sunny weather, one Bethesda barista showed off his artistic talents outside the Westbard Starbucks Sunday.
By day, Manuel Alfredo Iglesias, 21, serves up coffee and espresso for Bethesda's caffeine addicts. But he spends his spare time drawing everything from animals to landscapes to portraits. Sunday, he set up his canvas outside his workplace, prompting many a curious onlooker to pause from their shopping trips and admire his art.
Iglesias deftly sketched up an image of a boxer based on a photo on a laptop he set up nearby.
"This is something where I really try to get into detail," he said of his work.
