BLOG: CC@H Chosen by Whole Foods Friendship Heights

Chevy Chase At Home has been chosen by Whole Foods Friendship Heights to be a beneficiary of its "Nickels for Non-Profits Program," a community-giving program that features a local non-profit for four months.

From now until Dec. 31, you can give CC@H a boost simply by taking your re-usable shopping bags to the store and telling the cashier you want your nickel refunds to be donated to Chevy Chase At Home. You will then receive tokens to put into a collection box near the exit.

This is a great opportunity to support a volunteer organization dedicated to helping residents stay in their own homes and remain connected to their community as they age.

CC@H is in the forefront of a nationwide Senior Village movement. Trained volunteers provide members with transportation, household assistance such as minor home repairs, temporary pet care, carrying out recycling bins, etc., as well as social and educational opportunities and much more.
