Ronald K. Brown and Arcell Cabuag of Evidence, A Dance Company will be in residence at CityDance Center at Strathmore for two weeks, beginning January 17. Brown will also work with students from CityDance Community Programs during a series of workshops offered at local public and charter school sites. The residency will culminate in a co-presentation with Washington Performing Arts Society of Ronald K. Brown and Evidence at GW Lisner Auditorium on February 1, 2013 at 8pm. The performance, including vignettes like On Earth Together, comprised of Stevie Wonder songs, is a unique chance for students and dance lovers alike to experience this progressive and poetic company in action. “If there is any company working today whose dancers pack a more sophisticated and vibrant kinetic punch, I can’t think of it,” The New York Times.
