It’s the second Friday of the month, so get ready for Bethesda Art Walk from 6-9 p.m. Downtown Bethesda art galleries will stay open late and showcase the work of local, national and international artists. You can walk to the galleries, or if you’d rather not brave the cold, you can take the free Bethesda Circulator. Also this Friday, Imagination Stage begins its run of “Aquarium,” a special performance geared towards very young children. Walt Whitman High School's performance of Bill Russell's "Side Show" kicked off yesterday, but you still have two chances to catch the show at 7:30p.m. Friday and Saturday. The musical is based on the true story of conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton and follows the sisters' career from "freaks" to vaudeville to Hollywood. If you're looking to support the arts in style this weekend, Imagination Stage's annual gala is your best bet. The performance venue and educational hub will host its 31st annual gala,  "Be Immortal: Let your Love of the Arts Live Forever" this Saturday, Oct. 23.
