Bethesda Green Farm Tour

9:00AM - 3:30PM

We'll be leaving by bus from the Bethesda Green Office -- 4825 Cordell Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814 -- at 9:00 AM and return at 3:30 PM.

Where: Brickyard Farm, Calleva Farm, Rocklands Farm, and Button Farm will be visited on the farm tour.

Cost: $15 per person

Please join Bethesda Green for our second annual Farm to Table summer event. This year, BG will be taking a busload of our friends for a tour of the Montgomery County Farms. We will stop at four different farms, take guided tours, hear from local experts active in the Montgomery County sustainable food movement and taste the delicious bounty of our local farms!

Refreshing Honest Tea and water will be provided on the bus. Lunch will not be provided, however, we will visit Rocklands Farm during lunch (hot food available) and produce will be available for purchase at several of the stops on the tour.

Bethesda Green is a non-profit group that partners with local businesses and initiates programs to promote environmental sustainability. The group has championed placing recycle bins around downtown Bethesda, organized community paper-shredding days, and hosts a monthly happy hour. In addition, Bethesda Green launched a business incubator program to help grow local businesses with a focus on the environment or energy efficiency.
