DESCRIPTION:&nbsp\;Bingo in the Park - The Glen Echo Fire Department will
  be having their annual family-friendly fundraising Bingo and Silent Auc
 tion on Friday\, Sept 7\, starting at 7 pm at the Glen Echo Park Spanish
  Ballroom at 7300 MacArthur Boulevard\, Glen Echo\, MD. All ages are wel
 come\, and there will be prizes appropriate for all age groups\, includi
 ng radio audience tickets\, restaurant certificates\, crafts\, toys\, an
 d games. Free parking\, no admission charge\, but there is a suggested d
 onation of $3 for bingo cards\, and additional contributions are welcome
 d. There will be lots of prizes\, some great silent auction items\, a 50
 :50 raffle\, and snacks for sale. The money raised will be for uniforms\
 , equipment\, supplies\, and training materials for the Glen Echo Fire D
 epartment volunteer EMT's and firefighters so that they can better serve
  the community. Funds will also help fund Glen Echo&rsquo\;s ALS (advanc
 ed life support) equipment and supplies and the BERT (bicycle emergency 
 response team). The doors and silent auction will open at 7\, with Bingo
