Join us for a Family Contemporary CHRISTMAS EVE Candlelight Service for all ages. This service is not un-Christmaslike at all. Quite the contrary! This puts a fun, and informal, contemporary light rock edge to a lot of your favorite traditional Christmas carols! Complete with a beautifully and traditionally lit sanctuary, a full praise band, church choir, with acoustic and electric guitars, keyboards, bass, drums, violin, and cello! And the Good News of Christmas will come through loud and clear! This is a hit with all of the kids, too!

The Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, located along Old Georgetown Road in downtown Bethesda, serves the community through running service activities and lending space for community programs. A Bethesda Cares lunch program for the homeless takes place at the church weekly, along with meetings for several addiction support groups and worship services for several area religious groups. The church hosts programs for children, youth, and parents, outreach ministries and a choir and praise band.
