Jay and Diane Jones, local birding experts, will lead three Locust Grove Nature Center birding trips in September. Participants will search for southbound songbirds in the woods and riverbeds of the C&O Canal, waterfowl in a wetland wildlife refuge, and raptors from atop overlooks at Bald Knob. Please register at ParkPASS.org and print out your confirmation receipt for directions to the meeting site.

More About Locust Grove Nature Center
Locust Grove Nature center is an educational environment for both children and adults. The center offers hiking trails, gardens and nature exhibits throughout the year. Educational programs include naturalist training, bugs and slugs exploring, compass and map training and nature movies. Locust Grove also holds an annual photography exhibit called Portraits of Nature.
