The Amazing Night-Time Adventure of Little Hawelmann
Imagination Stage, 4908 Auburn Ave, Bethesda, MD | Get Directions »
$10.00
Theater der Nacht, founded by experienced puppeteers Heiko and Ruth Brockhausen, is flying to Imagination Stage from Germany to present Hawelmann. Based on the fairytale by Theodor Storm, Hawelmann is a boy who won't fall asleep. His mother, exhausted with rocking him, falls asleep herself. Bored and restless, Hawelmann makes a sail for his bed with his nightshirt and soars into the night upon an invitation of the moon. Will little Hawelmann find his way home after traversing the globe?
Best for Ages 3-6. Performances are Tuesday-Sunday at 10:30 and 11:45.
