  Washington Ballet to create a world premiere fusion of dance\, theater\
 , and puppetry in Imagination Stage&rsquo\;s summer production\, The Lio
 n\, The Witch &amp\; The Wardrobe. In this groundbreaking collaboration\
 , based on the novel by C.S. Lewis\, the roles of Lucy\, Edmond\, Susan\
 , and Peter are played jointly by an actor and a dancer\, and the courag
 eous lion Aslan is portrayed by a life-size puppet operated by three act
 or/puppeteers\, similar to the puppets used in the Broadway production W
 ar Horse. When Lucy discovers a magical wardrobe that leads her and her 
 siblings into the fantastical world of Narnia\, the four become embroile
 d in an enduring battle between the evil forces of the White Witch and h
 er arch nemesis\, the great lion Aslan. Performance times vary. Appropri
 ate for ages 5 and up. Tickets are $10 to $27.
