DESCRIPTION:The Event:&nbsp\;This isn't just your typical 5K. &nbsp\;We h
 ave partnered with the charity Soles4Souls and encourage runners to brin
 g a pair of shoes to donate and challenge them to run barefoot (although
  completely optional)! &nbsp\;The event also benefits local non-profit&n
 bsp\;Teens Run D.C.\, and we are encouraging kids to get active by makin
 g the&nbsp\;5K for FREE to kids under 12! &nbsp\;&nbsp\;\nThe Course:&nb
 sp\;This is no boring road race. We do not reveal the course until race 
 day but be prepared for a cross country-like adventurous course!&nbsp\;\
 nThe Extras: We have lots of FREE fun events set up for the entire famil
 y after the run including a kids 1k race \, "foot painting"\, foot massa
 ges\, yoga stretching session\, live music\, a raffle for a chance to wi
 n amazing prizes\, a shoe kicking contest and a "Bare Like" expo where y
 ou can taste some great organic foods\, and try out crossfit\, parkour o
 r the game of BareBall. &nbsp\;&nbsp\;\n&nbsp\;
