Jaleo Bethesda Debuts Foosball/Dining Table, Trash Collectors Return to Work, 1 More Day of Hot Weather

Here are five things to know on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2013, in Bethesda and Chevy Chase:

1.) Expect another hot day, with temperatures in the 90s, before temperatures fall back into the 70s on Friday, The Weather Channel reports.

2.) Striking Potomac Disposal workers head back to work on Thursday, while negotiations for health insurance and higher pay continue. A striking worker was hit by a Potomac Disposal garbage truck outside the company's gates on Wednesday morning. Read more on Patch.

3.) Jaleo Bethesda's renovation is done, and it's quite stunning. Especially interesting are the combination foosball/dining tables, with foosball figurines dressed in unique costumes.

4.) Houses in Bethesda and Chevy Chase are selling for between $270,000 and $2 million this week.
