Suburban Hospital Patient and Family Advisory Council Seeks New Members

Suburban Hospital is seeking community members to serve on its Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC), an active group of community members that meets monthly with hospital staff.

Suburban Hospital believes in a culture of patient- and family-centered care and PFAC community advisors help bring the voice of patients and families to hospital operations. They serve on committees, review patient education materials, educate staff about patient- and family-centered care and comment on relevant hospital policies.

Have you or someone in your family received care at Suburban Hospital? Have you been an advocate for a relative or friend who received care? Advisors are collaborative thinkers with good communication skills, and able to contribute constructive ideas. If this sounds like you, please contact our Service Excellence office at 301-896-3043 to learn more about serving on the PFAC.
