Suburban Hospital Patient Care/GI Tech Wins 2013 EndoNurse Magazine MVP Award

Suburban Hospital’s Patient Care/GI Tech John Kleinguenther was recently named the first place winner of EndoNurse magazine’s 2013 Most Valuable Professional.

Kleinguenther, a Laytonsville resident, has worked at Suburban Hospital for 18 years, with eight of those years in endoscopy.

“John has a very strong work ethic,” said Karen Carlson, nursing director of endoscopy and minor procedures at Suburban Hospital. “He stays late and comes in early to meet the needs of the patient and the department. He is well respected by the physicians and staff on the unit and possesses an invaluable amount of knowledge in the endoscopy field.

John will receive a gift card, a certificate and will be highlighted with the other winners in a special October/November issue of EndoNurse magazine. His bio and photograph are currently featured on the magazine’s website at endonurse.com. Voting for the award took place online during the summer.
