Little Falls Village - Information Meeting March 3

Please join us for a special meeting on Monday, March 3 from 7:00 to 8:00pm at Westland Middle School to learn how Little Falls Village is helping older neighbors in our area stay home and “Age-in-Place”.

Little Falls Village is a non-profit organization that connects seniors with neighborhood volunteers who provide non-medical help that makes it easier for seniors to remain independent at home longer.

Little Falls Village began helping seniors in July 2013 and in January 2014 began expanding its services to seniors in all of the neighborhoods in area code 20816.  Village boundaries run from Clara Barton Parkway to River Road and from Goldsboro Road to Western Avenue.  If you live within these boundaries you’re invited to come and learn about the benefits of being a Village member, a volunteer, or both.

The Village movement is growing faster in the Washington area than in any other area of the country.  At this special meeting you’ll hear about this growth and why the movement is so important from Village leaders, Village members, and Village Volunteers.  There will be plenty of time to answer your questions and a few light snacks to enjoy.

Please make plans to join us at 7:00pm on March 3, at Westland Middle School, 5511 Massachusetts Avenue.  If you need a ride to attend this meeting, let us know and we’ll provide one. To RSVP, call the Little Falls Village office at 301-320-3267 or send an email to info@littlefallsvillage.org.

We’ve removed the ability to reply as we work to make improvements. Learn more here
