AITAF Stage, Screen Stars to Perform at Walter Reed

Arts in the Armed Forces, led by Emmy-nominated actor and Marine veteran Adam Driver (HBO's Girls, Star Wars VII), will perform at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center's Memorial Auditorium, May 19 at noon.

The performance will consist of monologues and music presented by critically-acclaimed artists, including: 

Driver, Robert Beitzel (Turn), Eric Bogosian (Law & Order: Criminal Intent), Donnetta Lavinia Grays (Mercy), Zach Grenier (The Good Wife), Annie Parisse (Person of Interest), Jesse J. Perez (American Splendor), Reg Rogers (The Americans), Peter Scolari (Girls), Joanne Tucker (Gayby), Sasheer Zamata (Saturday Night Live) and many more.

Tickets are free, first come-first served. The show is open to patients, their families, staff and military personnel, ages 18 and over. For questions, email contact@aitaf.org

The mission of AITAF is to honor, educate, inspire, and entertain all active duty and veteran members of the United States Armed Forces and their families by engaging them in the power and social service of the performing arts. 

AITAF enlists artists of the highest quality and chooses material with an eye to what might speak to this particular audience without necessarily being war-themed or focused.
