YOUR WILD AND WACKY TEENAGE DOG - free workshop
SAT. MARCH 15
FREE WORKSHOP. YOUR WILD & WACKY TEENAGE DOG. St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 6030 Grosvenor Lane, Bethesda, MD. 10:00-11:30 am. Is your one-year-old dog jumping on people, easily distracted, and just plain driving you crazy? Do you feel like your 15-month-old dog has forgotten everything learned in puppy kindergarten? Dogs between the ages of 6 months and about 2 years are canine adolescents. Just like their human counterparts, canine "teens" exhibit new and challenging behaviors. Fortunately there are many strategies that can help you better understand, guide, and manage dogs in this age group. Expert professional trainer Veronica Sanchez will help you learn how to use positive training, games, and simple management to prevent annoying teen dog behaviors from becoming life-long bad habits. Raising a wild and wacky canine teenager does not have to be difficult, and it can even be fun. Please leave your dog at home.
