Catch A Movie Under The Stars This Week

Outdoor movie season launches Tuesday in Bethesda.

It’s outdoor movie season in Bethesda! The is hosting outdoor movies this week at the corner of Norfolk and Auburn Avenues in the Woodmont Triangle.

Grab your friends, family and a few lawn chairs and enjoy a mix of new releases, action, comedy, musical and classic films.

The movies will be screened at 9 p.m. each night through Saturday. Here’s what’s on tap:

  • Tuesday: Stand By Me
  • Wednesday: Vertigo
  • Thursday: The Muppets
  • Friday: Crazy, Stupid, Love
  • Saturday: Hugo

BUP will also be providing a limited number of chairs.

The fun’s not over after this week, though. Every Tuesday in August, check out a movie screened outside on Bethesda Lane, organized by Federal Realty. This year’s selections are 1980s classics:
