H&M: Dancing on the Sidewalk
H&M opened in the Chevy Chase Pavilion in Friendship Heights at noon on Aug. 1.
The Aug. 1 opening of H&M in the Chevy Chase Pavilion was accompanied by long lines and dancing on the sidewalk.
This video was taken at about 11:30 a.m., just a half hour before the store's noon opening. As music blasted out of a loudspeaker, H&M staff danced in front of the entrance, and shoppers—some with H&M goodie bags—waited in long lines on Wisconsin Avenue.
