The National Weather Service has issued an alert for Montgomery County.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for Montgomery County that runs until 2 a.m. on June 11.

Heavy rain has already fallen in the region, the weather service says, with the possibility for more storms that could produce flooding rains.

Residents should expect extremely heavy rain that will flood low-lying areas and streets with slow drainage, says Montgomery Community Media. Do not cross flooded roads.
