It's scary how many local places are hosting Halloween events this weekend!

Looking to take your favorite “ghoul” out for a night of spooky fun in Bethesda?

No need to search the darkest corners of the internet for a place to go – get patched into all the best Halloween events in Bethesda with this handy guide.

  • SIN-ful Halloween at :  Monday, October 31, 9:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. (4901 Fairmont Avenue, Bethesda) Prizes awarded for best costume and “U-Call-Its” for $3.00
  • 10th Annual Halloween Costume Party & Contest at Tommy Joe’s: Saturday, October 29, 8 p.m. – 2 a.m. (4714 Montgomery Lane, Bethesda) DJ and dancing start at 10 p.m. with a costume contest at 11:30 p.m. Prizes: $300 for the “Sexiest Costume,” $200 for the “Best Costume” and $200 for the “Most Original Costume.”  Drinks specials include: $3.00 Bloody Coronas, $2.00 Miller Lite/Coors Draft and $5.00 Car, Grape, Cherry or Jager Bombs.
  • Jack the Ripper Halloween Bash at Union Jack’s: Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 9 p.m. – 2 a.m. (4915 St. Elmo Avenue, Bethesda) No cover and $1,000 in total prizes for the “Best All-Around,” “Sexiest” and “Funniest” costumes.
  • Radio Javan Halloween Costume Party at the DoubleTree Hotel: Friday, October 28, from 8:30 p.m. – 2 a.m., (8120 Wisconsin Avenue, Bethesda). Billed as the East Coast’s “Largest Persian Halloween Costume Party,” this event features performances from DJ TABA (Abo Atash show), DJ DELBAR (1001 Shab show) and DJ BARBARI (Barbarization Show), as well as a live Percussion performance by Shahram. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door.
  • Rock, Paper Zombies at  Friday, October 28, 8:00 p.m. (5301 Tuckerman Lane, North Bethesda) This unique combination of art, music and costumes features music by Mittenfields, Devin Ocampo and Bellflur plus artwork by Gig Posters by Rich, Itty Bitty Press, John Foster and Fire Studio. Tickets are $10 in advance, $12 at the door.
  • Night of Fright, Frolicking and Fun at Flanagan’s Harp & Fiddle: Saturday, October 29 from 7 p.m. to close (4844 Cordell Avenue, Bethesda) Costume contest with prizes for best and most original costumes; gift certificates and other prizes as well. Drink specials include $10 Bud Light & Shock Top pitchers, $2.50 Bud, Coors or Miler Lite and the “Wheel of Drink Specials.” Play beer pong, flip cup and more all while DJ Urban Cowboy spins tunes.
  • Halloween at Rira: Saturday, October 29 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. (4931 Elm Street, Bethesda ) Live music with T’Akila Jones, costume contest, $4.00 Sam Adams and other specials.
