Celebrity Authors To Appear On Bethesda Row Next Month

Rosie Pope, Richard Belzer, and Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne are just a few of the celebs scheduled to attend "Writers on the Row."

A four-day festival of book readers and writers is set to draw celebrity authors to Bethesda Row next month.

“Writers on the Row” is set for Oct. 11 through Oct. 14, and celebs scheduled to appear include reality star Rosie Pope of Bravo TV’s “Pregnant in Heels,” Katherine Kallinis Berman and Sophie Kallinis LaMontagne of Georgetown Cupcake, and author, actor and comedian Richard Belzer

Pope is the author of “Mommy IQ,” and cupcake queens Berman and LaMontagne co-wrote “Sweet Celebrations: Our Favorite Cupcake Recipes, Memories, and Decorating Secrets That Add Sparkle to Any Occasion.”

Belzer, known for his role on the NBC drama “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit,” also co-wrote “Dead Wrong: Straight Facts on the Country’s Most Controversial Cover-Ups.”

Also on the roster is Karen Sommer Shalett, Editor-in-Chief of DC Magazine and contributing writer to "True Blood: Eats, Drinks, and Bites from Bon Temps,” a cookbook inspired by the popular HBO vampire series set in Bon Temps, LA.

Michael Wilbon, ESPN co-host of "Pardon The Interruption" and editor of “The Best American Sports Writing 2012,” is set to appear, as are Maz Rauber and Amy Reingold, who co-wrote “Capital Girls.”
