Bye Bye Birdie

B-CC High School students are putting the finishing touches on the
Tony Award-winning musical "Bye Bye Birdie" and will perform the show
December 2, 3, 9 and 10 at 7:30 p.m. and December 11 at 2:00 p.m. in
the high school auditorium. A cast of talented students will sing
(with the B-CC pit orchestra) everyone's favorite tunes -- "Kids,"
"Put on a Happy Face," "The Telephone Hour," "One Last Kiss," and
"Spanish Rose."

Set in 1958, this satire on American society was inspired by Elvis
Presley and his draft notice into the Army in 1957. It is the story
of rock star, Conrad Birdie, who travels to a small town in Ohio to
make his farewell television performance and kiss the biggest fan
before he is drafted.

Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for this entertaining
and upbeat show. Tickets for the show can be purchased online at
www.bcctheater.com or at the door beginning 1/2 hour before the
performance. Prices are $15.00 (Adult Reserved), $10 (Child, Student
and Senior Reserved), or $10.00 (General Admission All Ages). The
annual "Westland Middle School Night Special" is back with Westland
students paying only $5 for a ticket and a treat and drink from the
Concessions Stand on December 9. Also, a special "B-CC Student Night"
ticket price will be $5 (General Admission) for the December 10
performance only.
