Cajun & Zydeco Dance Party

Dancing by the Bayou will host a Cajun/Zydeco Dance Party in the Artisphere Ballroom in Arlington, VA on Wednesday, June 8, 2011.  Our feature band is the incredible Cedric Watson & Bijou Creole.  One of the brightest young talents to emerge in Cajun, Creole and Zydeco music over the last decade, Cedric Watson is a four-time Grammy-nominated fiddler, singer, accordionist & songwriter with seemingly unlimited potential. 

The fun begins at 7:30 pm with a 60-min. beginner Cajun dance lesson taught by Michael Hart and Sharon Schiliro followed by dancing until 11 pm.  Admission is $15.  No partner required.
