"Come, and Be Vocal: A Service in Song"



Musician Dr. Ysaye Barnwell  will lead two services of songs at River Road Unitarian Universalist Congregation on November 28th at 9:15 and 11:15.The services are titled "Come, and Be Vocal: A Service in Song." Dr. Barnwell, who will lead the groups in spirituals, gospels and hymns, has been conducting vocal workshops, leading community sings and creating vocal communities for more than 25 years. She has lead groups on three continents and throughout the U.S.  Her 2008 book, " We Are One," was the winner of the Frances and Wesley Bock Book Award for Children's Literature.
