Down Syndrome Network Buddy Walk

The 8th Annual Down Syndrome Network of Montgomery County Buddy Walk® will take place at Falls Road (Hadley’s) Park, Potomac, MD on October 6, 21012. More than 500 people are expected to attend the event, which is one of over 250 Walks across the country this fall to raise awareness and funds for programs that benefit people with Down syndrome and their families. 

The DSNMC Buddy Walk will feature a one-mile walk in which anyone can participate without special training. It is an inspirational and educational event that celebrates the many abilities and accomplishments of people with Down syndrome.  Participants will also enjoy a carnival-like atmosphere with a moon bounce, arts and crafts, refreshments and more.
