The artists – Julia Latein-Kimmig and Maya Ormsby - often work side-by side, but transform and interpret creative stimuli in vastly different ways. Maya is often inspired by Middle Eastern, Byzantine and primitive art forms which bring vivid colors to her work and blend symbolically with Western-influenced techniques, shapes and structures, while Julia focuses on studies, sketches and collage pieces in order to jump start a lively exchange of ideas traveling the canvas, and leading her on her quest to explore the abstract.  Julia’s and Maya’s art is an expression of their love, passions, and imagination, of who they are and whish to be.  We hope you can see it for yourselves!
