Great Escape: From Whine to Wine!

Bethesda Patch brings you ideas to make the most of your me-time.

Your teens are holding a car wash at the high school Saturday. The grandparents volunteered to take the younger children to a movie Sunday afternoon. Your tweens take tap on Wednesday evening. It’s your time. Take it.

Each week, we’ll tell you about one great idea to give you a much deserved break, and make your life a little easier, maybe a whole lot easier.

This week's escape: Tired of all the whining in your house?  How about getting away for an evening to enjoy a little adult wine instead?  This spring,  offers wonderful wine tasting classes in their Bethesda location.  On April 11, take a "Tour de France" to explore a sampling of up and coming French wines.  On May 2, you could celebrate the "Rite of Spring" with wines that are perfect for drinking in the springtime or on June 6, experience the "South American Breakthrough" through learning about Argentinian and Chilean value wines.

All of these classes take place from 7:00 - 9:30 p.m.  What a great way to learn a little more about what you could be drinking!  Register soon.  These classes are limited in size and fill up quickly.
