If you’re looking for fun events around town to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out, look no further than the
The shopping center and more than 50 retailers will be hosting the event from 6-9 p.m. Thursday, complete with special offers, gifts, giveaways, live entertainment, makeovers and snacks.
The event, founded in 2009, is celebrated in New York and 100 other cities across the United States. It supports retail shops and restores consumer confidence in the wake of the recession, according to a mall news release. A collaboration between American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York, events across the country will include designer appearances, celebrity guests, fashion shows and performances.
"Westfield Montgomery is thrilled to celebrate Fashion’s Night Out again this year and provide area residents with an exceptional fashion event,” Joanna Caputi, Westfield Montgomery marketing director, said in a statement.
According to the mall, this year’s highlights include:
- A gift bag and sweet treat will be offered to the first 200 shoppers to arrive at center court.
- During the event, shoppers can register to win a $500 Westfield shopping spree.
- Stacy London-trained stylists will be on-hand to offer free professional style advice. Shoppers can reserve appointments online at www.westfieldstylelounge.com.
- Participating stores include Banana Republic, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Bare Escentuals, Cache, Eileen Fisher, Gap, Guess, J.Crew, Macy’s, Madewell, Michael Kors, Nordstrom, Steve Madden, TUMI, White House Black Market.

Can’t get enough FNO? More events are planned in The Collection at Chevy Chase will also host a screening of the iconic fashion film Funny Face, featuring Audrey Hepburn, Bethesda Magazine reported via Facebook. The screening will take place in the collection’s Farr sculpture garden from 5-7 p.m. Thursday.
